The World We Live In

The pivot towards digitalisation and the disruption brought about by the pandemic has triggered a cascade of changes in our healthcare landscape. But how do we best understand what’s currently in the works? Fret not because we’ve invited experts in the know-how of national healthcare initiatives to share insights on the current landscape of healthcare in Singapore and how we use digitalisation and other measures to improve our public health infrastructure.

As a participant, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of either the “Public Health” plenary or the “Digitalisation” plenary featuring Dr Loh Yong Joo of CHI and A/Prof Jeremy Lim of SSH SoPH in the former and Dr Ng Yih Ng of CHI and Ms Elita Lawalata of GovTech in the latter.

How It All Starts

Telehealth services such as DoctorAnywhere and Intellect have made huge headlines in recent times. Yet, these services were nowhere near their current popularity just a few years ago. For all the budding entrepreneurs out there, the start of a new venture can be a pretty daunting process and having someone show us the ropes can go a long way. This is why Discussion 2 brings in the founders of both DoctorAnywhere and Intellect to share their journey and answer your questions on how to turn your ideas into reality.

1530 - 1700

"How-To" Series

Learn more about how to identify a problem and conduct a needs analysis, how to ensure your ideas and programmes are sustainable (financially, socially and environmentally), and how to give an effective elevator pitch.

20 July 2022 (Wed)

Feel like you aren’t too sure where your hackathon pitch is going and would like some advice? Our panel of mentors are star-studded with plenty of experience so you can be rest-assured that you’re in safe hands. Hopefully, this helps to add those final tweaks before your final pitch at the end of the week!
